Responsibilities:
You’ll be taking the lead in digital development, doing things such as:
- Writing full-stack code: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL
- Laying out and providing functional development (front-end & back-end) sometimes using WordPress, Advanced Custom Fields and Gravity Forms
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsive design
- Testing and debugging for cross-browser and device capability
- Providing strategic direction for digital development projects
- Contributing to scoping costs, estimates, and timing for projects and proposals
Marketing Technology Support:
- Manage web hosting accounts and triage occasional uptime and security issues
- Tag management (i.e.: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, marketing tags)
- Provide technical consulting regarding online technology platforms and wherever web-related tech experience is needed (connecting to third-party systems, data)
Requirements:
There are some things that you really have to know:
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript / front-end libraries/frameworks (react, next.js, vue.js, etc.)
- PHP / MySQL / WordPress / Other PHP-based CMS
- Source control (i.e.: GitHub, etc.)
- Adobe Photoshop/Adobe XD (at least the basics)
- Good web development practices and how to write clean, reusable code
- How to be a team player and maintain excellent attention to detail
Bonus Points for:
- WordPress theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with WP Engine
- E-commerce development experience
- Headless CMS development/API development
- SASS knowledge
- Additional server-side scripting and database development skills
- Diversity is encouraged
